AI Assisted Programming - Release 2
Writing a book incrementally and publicly puts you in a strange state of mind. If I was writing an article, I’d do a clean up then release the final version for all time. Writing a book, I feel compelled to clean up over and over again. I’m left with the feeling that it is never quite clean enough. The good news is that I’ll have a chance to do it again tomorrow, and the next day, etc.
So, what state it is it in?
According to my notes, the initial release had 7 chapters. This release has 14.
I’ve added a very temporary introduction, a resources section and two groupings for the chapters: Concepts and Techniques. You should view these as placeholders. I suspect that I’ll change the top-level organization as I go on.
Each of the chapters in the Concepts section needs a bit more elaboration and a bit more context but all of that is being driven by the work I’m doing in the Techniques section. That is where I’m doing most of my active writing now. It is the real meat of the book and where you will find the most value.
Thanks again for your interest. If you do not already have a voucher for free copy let me know and I’ll send you one. If you feel the urge to support by paying, that is fine too.
I’m interested in whatever comments, corrections or suggestions you might have.
